Emerson Cobbley (C’24) | Senior Exhibition: Your Own Thoughts, Ideas, and Feelings
Emerson Cobbley is a student at North Park University in 芝加哥, where she is pursuing a double major in English Literature and Art with a focus in graphic design. She grew up in Washington, and much of her work draws from the natural landscape of the Pacific Northwest. She has done graphic design work for ecological nonprofits, the USDA Forest Service, and Young Evangelicals for Climate Action. Her fine art practice includes a Junior Showcase in North Park University’s Carlson Tower Gallery, a Scholarship Showcase in Brandel图书馆 Gallery, and the North Park University fine art magazine, 北分行. 目前, she is exploring the intersectionality between nature, 文学, and the embodied and cerebral human experience, through acrylic paintings on panel, intricate pen drawings, digital illustration, and sculpted fabric.
